Watermelon “Fire & Ice” Salsa

Ingredients

  • 3/4 Cup Chopped Watermelon
  • 2 Tablespoons Chopped Green Bell Pepper
  • 1-1/2 Teaspoons of Lime Juice
  • 1-1/2 Teaspoons of Chopped Fresh Cilantro
  • 3/4 Teaspoon of Chopped Green Onions
  • 3/4 Teaspoon of Chopped Jalapeno Pepper
  • 1/8 Teaspoon of Garlic Salt
  • Splash of Spontaneous Combustion Hot Sauce

Directions

In a large bowl, combine the watermelon, green bell pepper, lime juice, cilantro, green onions, jalapeno and garlic salt. Mix well and serve. Prep time will be about 15 minutes.

Juicy watermelon replaces tomatoes in this salsa that’s simultaneously cool and spicy hot — perfect for a summer barbeque.

Serve with Lime Flavored Tortilla Chips,
or use it as a topping for grilled chicken or fish.
